Tops In Lex’s soon-to-be favorite spot to take photos of white people, The Summit At Fritz Farm, will have its grand opening on April 27, and one local man is already stuck in traffic despite the grand opening being nearly a month away.

“I wanted to get there right when it opened, so I went ahead and left my house today,” Greg Fields told us. “The way traffic is currently moving, I should arrive at some point in late April, just in time to spend an hour or so looking for a decent parking spot.”

The placement of The Summit in a location already prone to heavy traffic has many Lexington commuters worried about traveling that area, especially with Keeneland opening back up soon. The opening of the Summit also has developers of CentrePointe worried, as they were unaware that a real estate project could actually be completed on time.

Many Lexington residents believe The Summit is essentially just a watered down version of Hamburg, except with way more traffic and way fewer Steak N’ Shakes. And those residents are absolutely correct.

“It’s got all the Bed And Bath of Hamburg, but none of the Beyond,” said Susan Greer.

If you’d like to take part in all the overpriced shopping and artisan Popsicle stores that The Summit has to offer, experts suggest you too should leave your house in the next few days in order to arrive in time for the grand opening.
