Kentucky Hopeful Matt Bevin Is Offered A Position In Donald Trump’s Cabinet

President-elect Donald Trump has found his transition to the White House filled with fighting, firings, poorly executed product placement and all the other major plot points of an episode of The Apprentice. While the task is difficult, almost as difficult as actually being the President of the United States of America, Trump is determined to assemble his team of leaders of the new administration sooner rather than later.

Trump apparently is taking this whole becoming President thing pretty seriously. Like any real life President, he is asking those he trusts to serve the country from his cabinet, and is running out of names in his rolodex that aren’t followed by a hyphen and the phrase known racist.

While the roles of White House Chief of Staff and Chief Strategist have been assigned, and Secretary of State likely to be offered to Dennis Rodman, the remaining 17 positions are pretty up in the air. Many here in Kentucky are hopeful that one of the remaining positions would be a good fit for current governor Matt Bevin.

Even if it wasn’t a good fit, just merely the notion that Trump would consider it to be a good fit, would be enough for many Kentuckians, as when the President calls you to serve, it’s not something you decline.

There are rumors of an online petition that was created shortly after this article was published that is asking Trump to consider Governor Bevin for Agricultural Secretary, or really any position his highness sees fit. Agricultural Secretary seems the most logical as it’s duties probably have something to do with farming and we have those here.

E.P.A. Administrator would also be a good fit for Governor Bevin, as Trump hopes to dismantle it, and Bevin has extensive experience with dismantling important government programs.

“Really just anything to get him out of the Governor’s mansion,” said pretty much everyone.
