The Lexington Health Department celebrated Fat Tuesday like many Americans, by going out to eat food that is not good for you. Then, on Ash Wednesday the announcement was made that China Hut would be giving up serving food for lent after the Health Department hit them with a 66 health score, a grade so low that it wouldn’t even be considered passing at BCTC.

When reached for comment a spokeswoman for china hut, Terri Withaneye, said “hey man, flip that bad boy upside down and you got a 99. It was an unfair grade, most of the poor score was given just due to unsanitary food handling practices, since when has that ever hurt anyone?”

Terri continued, “Don’t you think it’s fishy that they posted all this stuff here so close to Easter. I mean, Jesus broke the bread for the last supper with his bare hands, now we’re getting punished for doing the same thing with our egg rolls? Seems unfair.”

Shortly after the Health Department released the score, China Hut incorporated the card into a new slogan. Painted on their window customers will find, “Bi66er Meals, Lower Prices.”
